Mark 16:15
And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

We know and are fully persuaded that the gospel of Christ is the power of God to save any and everyone who believes (Rom. 1:16). It is meant for every creature, not some selected few. Christ died for all, not some, and as many that will receive Him will become God’s children.

The Bible says in John 1:12, "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, (even) to them that believe on His name."

The word 'power' as used here is the Greek word 'exousia' (ex-oo-see'-ah), which means authority, the privilege or legal right to something. In this case, it is the legal right to become God's children. The power to become is in the receiving, which is to believe the gospel of Christ preached. To believe the gospel of Christ is to receive the legal right to become a child of God. Hallelujah!

By reason of this, the preaching of the gospel of Christ is the first and foremost assignment of every child of God. Every child of God is hereby sent to do this. You don’t wait to be ordained to go out and preach the gospel; you don’t wait to be ordained to win souls.

As you come into the family of God, it becomes imperative for you to preach the gospel. And when you are baptized with the Spirit, it makes the assignment much easier. Then you can practice the supernatural on men by bringing healing to them, delivering the captive, opening blind eyes [spiritual and physical], setting at liberty those who are bruised.

Isaiah 61:4 says, “And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.”

These are those who would have been saved by the Messiah—the Anointed One. As saints, we have been transformed by the Lord, and now we go out to build the old wastes--those  forsaken, they're to be loved back to life through the gospel and the character that comes with it. We repair shattered and destroyed lives. Those who have been harassed by the enemy will be delivered through the gospel of Christ we preach; for the preaching of the gospel of Christ is the demonstration of the power of God.

Many lives are being radically transformed by the power of God in the gospel we preach. The devil is losing by the day through the ministry of those who are faithful in the preaching of the gospel of Christ. You may not know how much damage you do to the kingdom of darkness until the Lord opens your eyes to see.

This assignment is strictly to be carried out by the saints with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. It is said of the Lord, that He was anointed with the Holy Ghost, and with power; and He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38).

The ministry of the Spirit is very important in the effective preaching of the gospel and the demonstration of the power of God. We must not and should not do ministry without the Holy Spirit. Our Lord Jesus Christ didn’t do ministry without Him (the Holy Spirit); He was anointed with the Spirit, and the Spirit grants the power.

Furthermore, the gospel of Christ is characterized by the miraculous; the signs follow the preaching of the gospel. This is why the miraculous is frequent in the ministry of evangelists. Signs are what follow our preaching; wonder is the reaction of the people. Hallelujah!

After the Lord gave His disciples the instruction to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, and further telling them of the signs that will accompany the ministry of the believers—the believing ones, the Bible says in Mark 16:20, that, “And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with [them,] and confirming the word with signs following.”

Obedience to the word of God which says, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”, and not pursuit after the signs, is what makes the signs to follow. This is God's design, that signs should follow the preaching of His word—the gospel of Christ naturally. So, those who believe and do as commanded will have signs follow them, even if they don’t pray for signs.

The eyes should be on the preaching of the gospel, and not on the signs because the signs will follow the preaching of the gospel of Christ. We have been called to preach; we can preach. And when we preach, we can perform miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit we are sealed with. We are not helpless; we are full of help—the help of the Holy Spirit, our Helper.

God's grace abound towards you. Amen.
