πŸ‘©‍πŸ³πŸ‘©‍🍳 HEPHZIBAH'S KITCHEN πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ 26th of August, 2020

On a Saturday morning, while the breakfast was on fire my brother decided to pluck us a mango from the mango tree in front of the house to feast on before the food is done. So after plucking, he brought everything to me to pick first as the elder of the house so I picked the biggest one, he tried giving me a small fresh mango but I rejected it because I've been eyeing the mango with me even before he brought it, so he left and shared the remaining.......

With so much joy in my heart I went to wash the mango got a knife and plate wanna start feastingπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ but to greatest disappointment I sliced the mango only to meet maggots already feasting on the mango I've been salivating on😭😭😭...... Immediately, I tried throwing it away secretly so my brother won't see me🀭 but I was caught in the act and they began to laugh at me, though it's funny now but was not really funny that day oπŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ

Why am I tell you this story...... Sometimes what God is offers us looks too small than we expected, we believe we are older and mature, we believe we've outgrown that so we run after what seen like the big mango only to come back disappointed and start again....meanwhile He knows the best for us.

If we are to say no to covetousness, we must learn to say yes to contentment. This involves learning to be content with what we have (Hebrews 13:5). Much of our discontentment may be traced to expectations that are essentially selfish and more often than not completely unrealistic.

Ezekiel 33:31 They come to you as people come, and sit before you as My people and hear your words, but they do not do them,.... Why? for they do the lustful desires expressed by their mouth, and their heart goes after their gain.

Be aligned

Be Contented
